Yeah, it can be. I can my page limited to just friends from high school and college and am very selective about what I put in there. However, I have heard a couple of bad cases of drama that stemmed from myspace. My one friend, her college friends, and her roommate got into a big feud because the roommate posted a blog that called my friend and her circle of college friends and the blog was written with the sole purpose of ripping them all apart. Another friend was at the mall with me and another friend when his gf called and started interrogating him about a comment on his page from another girl and accused him of cheating. It turned out that the comment was just an ad for a porn site posted by someone who hacked into his account.

I hate myspace. I wouldn't know if myspace is drama or not, but I would imagine that it is. I've heard a lot of nasty things about it, and I believe it. Myspace is for people who are socially handicapped, no offense to those who have a myspace account. But, other than keeping in touch with old friends or with family, why not go out there in the real world and make friends; get some sun and enjoy life.

I wasted a little over a year on Myspace
Never had more than 20 friends
But there was always drama
Swear this is true, once a wild rumor went around about me that my wife was in jail for drugs and she left me with 7 daughters

Ummm never been married and Ummm if I had 7 daughters, don't think I'd have time for Myspace

Myspace is a waste of time and so much DRAMA

I don't think myspace personally is drama, I think how people react to it is where all the drama comes in. I have a myspace page but I don't get all freaked out that I don't have a lot of friends.

*laughing to myself* There was this dude who was like 30 years old when I lived in Missouri and he would actually make a HUGE deal over it if he got another friend. He had 12 when I left. ha ha haha and it's not a huge deal but he would be all geeked out because he had got another friend on myspace.

Just makes me laugh when I think about it. And he almost cried, seriously, when I put my page up and I had like 30 friends in about 2 months. Hilarious!!

Yeah, there is a lot of drama but all we can do is set a good example and explain to people it's not that big of a deal. Real friends in real life, in the flesh are good to have also.

MySpace is screwed. I had to shut down my page because of comments I got from other people. I got in trouble for something I didn't do online. Kind of reminds me of some other connection program . . . anybody know the ANSWER!

not unless you know how to manage your life and avoid drama. i'm in high school and i havent had drama since freshmen year [i'm a jr. now]... and i've had a myspace since like 8th grade.

I wouldn't know... I have 600 friends on myspace but I never go on... I like Facebook better.
