I have two favorites.

The Detroit Lions! I was born in Michigan. I have liked them since I was a kid when Barry Sanders was on the team.
I also like their head coach Rod Marineli who will probably lead them to the super bowl in his coaching career. I also like the general Matt Millen who picks awesome recievers in the draft per year.
I predict the Lions to still have an 11-5 record and win the superbowl this year or next year.

My other favorite team is the Buffalo Bills since they are a team who lost 4 straight super bowls but still never gave up and had a dream team back in their prime.

I'm also predicting that the Buffalo Bills are going to be a 9-7 or a 10-6 wildcard team.

I have two favortie teams. I love the Buffalo Bills, just because they have had some great players in the past, and have been the only team in nfl history to go to 4 super bowls and lose all 4 and have never given up. I also like the Dallas Cowboys, again they have had some great players in both the past and present (they currenltly have my fav player Terrell Owens)

It was 1967, and the Eagles were playing the Cardinals on our black and white TV. Back then, the cameras rarely zoomed in on the players like they do now, and the Eagles had white helmets with green wings.

As we all know, the Cards have white helmets and since the cameras were so far away, they both appeared to be the same to me. Now, I was 8 at the time and had loosely watched games in passing as Dad and my uncles would watch the games every Sunday.

On the particular day of that matchup, curiosity got the better of me and I asked who was playing.

Dad: "The Beagles and the Cardinals." (He called them Beagles because they stunk and played like a bunch of dogs)

Me: "The Eagles are our team right?"

Dad: "Yeah."

Me: "Which team is the Eagles, the one's in white (jerseys)?"

Dad: "No, the team in dark - the one's with the wings on their helmets."

Just then, a rare closeup shot of Eagles QB King Hill (I think) popped up. I saw the helmet and said "Coooool, man. I like the Eagles."

Been an Eagles fan ever since.

Minnesota Vikings.

I grew up in the Upper Midwest & started following the NFL and Vikings in 1985 when I was 8 years old. There's been some trying times for us Vikings fans, but I am loyal & will be a Vikings fan until the day I die.

Steelers fan for life - watching them since the late 60's. Why? Because they are a blue-collar type franchise, hard-working team with no flash, showboating or money being thrown around. Just love them because of the hard-hitting style football tradition that they've had now for 75 years.

Also, I met many of the players in the 70's because I grew up near their training camp in Latrobe, PA.

Go Steelers! Fan for life - Go Black N Gold - we luv ya.

Minnesota Vikings.
They joined the NFL the same year I was born. I used to like watching Fran Takenton run around like a chicken with it's head cut off. But mostly as a 5 year old I thought purple helmets with horns on them and the name Purple People Eaters was kinda cool.

New England Patriots, I've been a fan of the Pats, since an old bf took me to a game in 1972... I was hooked and have cheered for them ever since, even in 1990 when they were 1-15 I was still cheering.... It's wonderful, to see them with a winning team.
