Hello friends,

if a person who hunts is called hunter,a person who smokes is called smoker then Why a person who cooks is not called Cooker??

Somehow the automated version of the cook became a cooker (ie: slow cooker, rice cooker, etc). Maybe if we had automated versions of the other 2 (hunter and smoker) we'd call the hunter and hunt and the smoker a smoke. But smoke wouldnt work bc smoke is the substance too. So you know.. I dont know! :)

Cooker is a word, but I guess it sounds weird.

why is is that if a person has sex, they arn't called a sexer???
