how to get rid of family settings on xbox?

my xbox360 has the family settings enabled but my mom doesn't care about it and we can't figure out how to get rid of the family settings there already active but there annoying and we don't want them on there anymore.

i have tried turning them off but my account is family protected so i don't think it will let mebut there has to be a way to shut it off.

Go to the last slider on your dashboard and go under family settings or try system settings. Then just rad through the options and somewhere in there you can shut off the family settings.
