"Richie Banks" (not his real name) is a scammer who has been trolling message boards for months. He is probably sitting in an Internet Cafe in West Africa. The scammers take English names in order to lure victims here in the US and other English speaking countries.

He will "approve" you for a loan but require you to pay him some sort of fee upfront via Western Union or wire. If you pay teh fee, he disappears with your money.

Sounds like a scam. If you can't reach him by phone or fax, don't trust him or anything he tells you. Go to a reputable bank to get a loan, and don't let him talk you into anything.

Never trust anyone that offers to give you a loan.
The interest rate will be very high, which you will never be able to pay-off.

You can't trust people like that. He may also be very dangerous if you don't pay on time. Don't get involved.

Tell him you changed your mind.
