Nope, can't says I never heard of 'em before! Haaa!
Though I did buy a LP record by a band called the Buggs at my local grocery store back in the early 60's. Whenever I used to go grocery shopping with my Mom, the checkout counter had a rack of records, classical, muzac, pop. etc. I used to see this record called 'The Buggs'. I always bugged my Mom for it, but she'd never give in...it was a whole 99 cents or something!
Then about a year later I had a paper route, and saved my pennies. I walked into that 'Safeway' with head held high and bought my very first record (with out my Mom).
I remember hearing the Beatles on the radio all the time in around 1964, and I actually thought that this album was indeed the Beatles! It looked like them, and sounded like them. It even said 'The Liverpool sound - Recorded in England' on the cover, so by all accounts...it had to be! Sadly it wasn't, and for years I thought that this 'Beatles Knock Off' band were indeed from Liverpool.
I only found out recently that they were from Omaha Nebraska! And the record was recorded in Minneapolis!
So this is the very first album I ever bought (with out my Mom): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Buggs
After I bought this album, I had to own everything The Beatles ever did, up untill the day they split! I was a total Beatles freak.
I saw both shows they performed in August 1965 in Toronto Ontario Canada! I was about 13 at the time, and there was this pretty older girl next door (about 16) that said she'd be my girlfriend for the rest of the summer (3 weeks?) if I gave her one of my tickets. If it had been May or June when she'd asked, then I might have only seen one Beatles show that August!
Yeah, I remember The Beatles!

properly heres my opinion. THE BEATLES WIN each time. extraordinarily against the jonas brothers. the beastles delivered lots to song and there song continues to be performed well-known, i guess you would be unable to bypass a week without listening to a beatles song or a refrence to the beatles. the jonas brothers have not delivered something new to the scene. they have merely latched directly to what they know works and has not promptly controlled ot earnings superstardom. however the beatles replaced song, a minimum of you're able to admire that. the beatles would be around for ever. i provide the jonas brothers yet another 365 days or 2. while the subsequent technology will know who the beatles are. im fairly valuable the comparable would be unable to be pronounced with reference to the jonas brothers. the beatles are probable the desirable band ever.
