I would say somewhere between 2-4 ...
coming from a big family, (not 17 though!) I would never want to have just one - being a single child would be really boring, I would think. and demanding and time-consuming, because kids with siblings would entertain each other a lot, whereas a single child would need lots and lots of parental attention because they've got no one to play with.
(that's just my theory though. I wouldn't know for sure because I've had siblings for longer than I can remember. hehe)
but I sure don't want 17 either.
that's just a bit much ....

I only wanted 2 but my husband wanted 4. So we agreed on 3. We have a 2 year old and I am 37 weeks pregnant.

I have 2...and I want to at least have one more boy..if i have another in about 5 years..if it is a girl..i will try again for a boy..but 2 more is my limit...so 4 in total!!
