I'm in my 20s now and *still* my face gets acne. I'm on birth control pills which has helped a lot, but even the pills are useless against my period causing pimples. Is this ever going to stop?

Proactive worsened my skin. Absolutely nothing seems to work for me.

Usually I would shrug this off, but with a new boyfriend I'm even more self-concious and it just looks horrible. It's not one pimple, it's 9. Much worse than usual. I don't understand it.

I am 30, and have never had bad or oily skin, but I DO faithfully get that *ONE* pimple or so when I am PMSing. It sucks, but I think it is totally normal, and for me at least, it is expected. It's just a part of being a woman.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but it might not. I'm in my mid 40's. Although my breakouts are much milder than when I was in my 20's, I still get a few breakouts around the time of my period.
The good news is that skin that tends to be acne prone also tends to wrikle less as you age. Not much help now, I know. Just trying to show you the "up side" of of all of this.

Nope I was told you grow out of that but my mom never did. Which means I won't :-( Now she doesn't have any periods. Just use some proactive or another form of acne meds to calm it down.

Hormonal changes, I guess. I have the same problem. Talk to your dermatologist to see if they can do anything for you.

breaking out while on ur period is SO NORMAL dont worry about it
