Not sure where you're getting your "conventional wisdon," but I do believe Hillary will be the Democratic nominee. I also believe she the only one in the current batch who has a real shot at the White House. Even though I admire Obama, I don't think he can win a general election. He's too liberal in his philosophy. The mainstream voter won't vote for him once they find out where he stands on the issues. Hillary is really a moderate candidate (at least she will be a moderate once the primaries are over). Given her loyal support to Isreal, I don't think she's going to pull out of Iraq any time soon (that story will change after the primaries). "Falling back on Bill" is great in the eyes of hard core Democrates, but the mainstream voter actually views that as a negative. I wouldn't consider her a shoe in by any means for a general election. That will all depend on who the Republicans put up. I think the Republicans love coming into this race as the underdogs, that could certainly work to their advantage. In a way, I hope the Republicans can keep the White House, since the Democrats will certainly keep both Houses of Congress. I think it's a nice "checks and balances" having the legislative and executive branches with different parties. We sure don't want them all to be the same...look what happened when the Republicans ran the whole show...what a mess.

It doesn't matter who wins, some group will bad mouth the winner.
I don't "hate" Hillary. I think she has a good back story and was a wonderful feminist.
I am scared of America under Hillary. The universal health plan will bankrupt the average American, yet the politician's & government unions' cadillac policies will still be in place and paid for with our tax dollars.
So, the middle class will have to pay for the millions of federal workers, state workers, politicians AND the unemployed, low wage and just plain lazy. Great.
Do people even realize how hard it has become for a small company to keep it's doors open now? Where do you suggest the 70% of us that work in small to mid sized businesses will find new jobs?
She scares me, and scares me badly.
Finally, she has been knee-deep in, and associated with, many illegal and fraudulent business deals, why do you want to put a person like that in power?

Other than the dislike expressed for bush over the actions(war, corruption in Iraq, stripping Americans of individual rights) & inactions, along with 6 years of republican control over congress of of his presidency(nothing done with the border, nothing done for the American people or the infrastructure of country, sinking the country into a huge debt). I don't see much hate mail in the form of questions about the conservatives. On the other side, the hatred sprews forth endlessly. The dreaded "liberals". What a worthless bunch! Medicare, liberal, to hell with the elderly. Social security, liberal, once again, to hell with the elderly. Unemployment, liberal, to hell with the unemployed. Everything that might possible help someone in need of help is a liberal agenda to take away from you, the conservative. Just to inform you, "liberals" pay taxes too. The selfishness expressed by the conservative side of this forum is scary.Even you, a conservative might need help at some time in your life, possible when you get old & you will get old. Even conservatives grow old! I'm sorry but I can't support Hillary for president. I think she is indeed qualified for the job, but ,she is part of what I am against. The control of congress by corporate America. With the control of congress goes the control of America.

Please think about what you are doing - Clinton will say and do anything to get elected. She wants power and is not doing this for the American people but herself.
Clinton has no agenda - just as she hasn't helped the people of New York - she only moved there to get the vote of people who "think" she was going to help them.
Most people aren't bashing Hillary - they are looking at these debates in the wrong way - the Democratic party does not have a plan to help the average American - those who have jobs - those who own a house - those who pay for their kids to go to private schools - the Democrats have no plans for these people - which by the way - own over 80% of US businesses - pay over 80% of US taxes - and spend countless hours volunteering for local agencies and churches to help those less fortunate.
So until "Hillarious Clinton" can come up with an Agenda to actually help the backbone of American (Gender and Race are not an issue in this) - then why should she represent even her own democratic party?
So stop you own narrow view of the world and open your own blinders to see what is really happening - She wants power and will do and say anything to get it - and once in power - there is no long term plan - only polls and political agendas to drive her ambitions.

Sorry but unless you want the New World Order to become full fledged reality, you are wrong. She is a CFR member, and she has attended at least one Bilderberg meeting, and she is beholden to corporate interests, and the NWO agenda. Maybe you should watch the documentary called Endgame! *sm*

nicely... some human beings think of that in the event that they congratulate their opponents or criticize unfair refereeing against their opponents it's going to intend they betray their group. it is utter stupidity because of the fact in case you like your group than you like the spot as nicely. and in case you like soccer, inspite of who's on the pitch on the given 2nd, you shouldnt be blinded by applying the pretend love of your group reason the actual help doesnt blind all of us. and people who say they care in basic terms approximately their very own communities are silly reason as i pronounced you cant love a set and dont care with reference to the sport.

I haven't heard her mention any strategy whatsoever. I have heard her change her change her position on Iraq several times, while I was in Iraq. I have also heard her say that she was duped by George W. Bush, a man she seemingly doesn't trust to tie his own shoe laces.
No wisdom has it that a democrat will win the 2008 Presidential election, especially with the front runner unable to make up her own mind on any issue.
