Yes, your spelling and grammar aren't so good, but sometimes neither is mine. As far as underestimating you, I say prove to all of us "old guys" what you can do for yourselves, your country, your community, and your family in a positive way, and you have my respect, but remember not proving it is proving something in it self.
P.S. use spell check when you ask a question, then over half of your answerer's won't be someone harassing you about your spelling, also another thing, this isn't text messaging, so don't type like that, some of us don't always get it because we don't do it.

It's not that 15-17 years old are underestimated, its that you can actually learn from other people who have gone through the same situation you might be encountering. You don't have to take the advice, just appreciate someone cares enough to give you advice.
Not only 18 year-olds defend this country, what you think you know about having to defend this country means squat. Join the military and learn the sacrifices you have to make in able to defend this country, then talk about defending it, and yes, I served in the military.
The last part about school, adults/parents have to work and are tired. Unless you have a job teaching or photographic memory, we don't remember much from school.

This hard time in your life b/c through changes and your thinking that you want be an adult and have no idea about adult. I have problems with this age group on my case loads. They are frequently running away from home and do not want to abide by there parents rules. This is also a frustrating times for most parents as well. Is possible try to explain how you want treated, in a respectful manner. You don’t want it to come to the point where your parents want you out of the house and you are living with family members or even foster care b/c your parent refuses care, custody, and control of you. Talk to your Counselor or Social Worker at school. Also try looking for positive support groups such as “Kids Under Twenty One”

...Good heavens, Grammer check please? Well of course adults would underestimate YOU- for you cannot piece together proper words!! I am highly underestimated as a 15 year old and was even more so when I was 12. Well, that changed. I am much more intelligent than half my teachers. Good heavens. Look the vast majority of children these days- they are ignorant to standered teachings. They avoid the masters and defy taste. They are loud and obnoxious, rude, and think they are real. Arrogant and annoying. Ah well, this is our future. Not all, but quite a few.

We have all already been 15, 16 or 17 and we can see how we thought we knew it all back then, but now realize we didn't know anything. Don't think you are dumb-just inexperienced. Teens seem to think they are the only ones who have the answers. As you get older you will look back and see teens the same way we do now. I promise you.

A tip from someone who was taken seriously when she was your age (not all that long ago): if you want people to take you seriously, act like you're serious. If you want respect, you have to give it.
On a side note, I find this to be most unfortunate but also true: one does not need to understand much about life to serve in the military.
To help with your schoolwork, see if anyone is willing to form a study group. That might help.

The fact your question is riddled with mistakes doesn't make 15 through 17 year olds sound very smart right now.
EDIT: We're not perfect, but what it seems is that you're trying to prove to us that 15 through 17 year olds are smart, when you type as if you just started learning English about three years ago. That's not very smart.
I've actually met a foreign exchange student who spelled better than that. =/

It doesn't help your case when you're writing as if you just learned the English language. Grammar and spelling are important and goes to the grain of people understanding you.

Because they've been that old themselves. They've grown up, looked back and realized they really were not as smart, mature, grown-up and worldly as they thought they were. At that age, KIDS tend to think that they are all grown up, but they have a LOT to learn.
