Decide if you have the power to change something. If you don't, just let it go. If you can change it, do so. Sounds oversimplified but works for me. If bad thoughts enter my head (and I find the 'what if' ones the worst) I just turn them away. Took a lot of practise but I got there. The worst things you can do to yourself are worry about what might happen , or dwell on things that did happen.
Light candles, breathe deeply for 10 minutes, you will soon learn to feel calm and in control.

Read the Quran! (and no the religion of Islam is really not the way the media has prtrayed it to be-its a religion of PEACE if you learn about it) or just pray to God, The Almighty. He is the BEST of Planners! <3

don't take things to serious...don't make a big deal out of nothing.....and don't worry about things you cannot change....don't let rude, hateful people get to you....be more optimistic....don't be one of those "the glass is half empty people"......and don't hold a grudge.....enjoy your life and the ones you have with you....whats that saying..."make each day your masterpiece"....
