this evening about the Thursday debate? Probably referring to "random" people who asked questions. Anyone else hear that?

Elway_... thanks for the info. I missed the first few minutes so I didn't hear about the undecided independent voters.

JenO, it takes about an hour for Youtube to load so I don't watch those. It might be on CSPAN. They use Realplayer. That works on my dialup.

Well, they don't want anyone asking too many questions that would lead to a confrontation, do they? Maybe... THE TRUTH?! Of course, they're hand-picked. It's LIVE T.V. and good media coverage.

Here's what you missed: The 100 people sitting in front were hand picked on the basis that they were Independent voters who had not made up their mind yet on who to vote for. They were the ones who were asking questions in the second part.

For the rest of the audience each campaign received an equal number of seats for their constituents.

EDIT: Gotta love the way people just jumped on this to make disparaging comments when they clearly don't have any idea about how it was set up. Nothing like assuming so they get a chance to flame.

Not that I don't trust you (I think it's possibly true from what else I have heard lately), but do you have a link to a video clip?

edit: hey, I didn't say anything disparaging, I've just heard so much about hand picked questions from the Hillary camp, that I assumed it was that, but in a bigger scale. I still want to see a clip to judge for myself.

Not sure about that Fed, but that young lady said they wanted her to ask Hillery about the diamonds and then said she could ask the question she wanted to and did not let her. But CNN set that up and what the hey is that got to do with running the country, so now CNN is in on it. Didn't know it was a hand picked audience. Thanks for the tip. Take care.
Woops, I mean thanks Eyes, Fed Up starred you.
