Fact 1. It's possible, highly unlikely but just possible, that the US government could have prevented the hundreds (thousands) of people who would need to be involved in a fake landing from talking. But do you really believe that?
Fact 2. The pictures and data coming from the moon landings were received at ground stations around the world. Two major ones were in the UK (Goonhilly Downs) and Australia (Parkes). These people knew very well where the signals they were receiving were coming from. The idea that the US government could also keep these people quiet is laughable.
Fact 3. If it had been a hoax the first people to have denounced it would have been the USSR because they had good political reasons for not wanting it to be true. That they didn't denounce it is the very best evidence you'll ever get that it was true.
Fact 4. The reason we've never been back is because the US taxpayer refused to fund it. Not surprising really but that's the bottom line.

Although my wife's father performed fuel calculations for the original Apollo landing, I'll spare you that speech. Instead, I will encourage you to watch two programs. The first show is called Conspiracy Moon Landing that it currently showing on the National Geographic Channel and it pretty much obliterates all of the popular conspiracy theories.
I would also encourage you to watch a movie called Capricorn One. Made it 1978, it is a fictional story about a fake mission to Mars. Although it is a science fiction story, it is a good example of how utterly impossible it would be to fake a moon landing for any length of time.
12 men walked on the moon from 1969 to 1972 and we have neither the resources nor the technology to pull off that big of a hoax for so long. Hundreds of thousands of people have worked on the space program. It would be far easier to put someone on the moon than to try and fake it and keep it secret for nearly 40 years.
The landings came at a time when our space program was ultra competitive with the former Soviet Union. Remember how big of a deal it was when Sputnik was put into orbit? They had the technology to monitor our moon shots and transmissions. Don't you think they would have called us out if they had evidence that it was all fake?
Perhaps the most definitive proof of our trip to the moon is what we left behind. For the last 35+ years, scientists have been beaming lasers to the moon and measuring the return times. How are they doing this? The beams are reflected back by equipment left on the moon on at 3 different locations.
Case closed.

sure, some human beings do think of it became a hoax. no person clever, nonetheless. The "wind" became in basic terms the flag being adjusted, and you won't assume to be certain stars via a digicam on the moon, because of the fact which you will have an entire whiteout through overexposure. and that i do no longer think of the shortcoming of environment would cause them to that plenty brighter, in basic terms much less twinkly. If the moon landing have been a hoax, you will would desire to describe how hundreds of persons have been that cheating, or that bamboozled into questioning they have been extremely doing the artwork it would take to deliver a guy to the moon. and you will would desire to describe how the Russians, who would desire to hint the Apollo in basic terms like we did, the two did no longer word, or chosen to stay silent. you would be speaking a pair of Fox coach from some years in the past, i've got secure a hyperlink to a extraordinarily thorough refutation below.

Clown. It would have taken more organization and effort to work the hoax than it did to just go ahead and do the moon landing. Plus, there has not been another such hoax since then, so by your own argument, it cannot have been a hoax after all.

No, the mooning landing was real and there were more than one. Actually there were four landing, plus the aborted landing of Apollo 13 (an accident forced the space craft to return to Earth).
Try telling Buzz Aldrian that the landings were a hoax; he nearly beat up a guy that mentioned it him.

I was really convinced it was a hoax for a long time after watching a very good British video about it... however, there are some really good anti-hoax websites that changed my mind... plus, there is that mirror that they left on the moon that can supposedly reflect a laser beam shone from earth...

Think. If you are capable. Think about it. If we faked it, and in later years, when Earthlings start going back to the Moon, which we will do, and don't find our junked spacecraft there, wouldn't that have been a stupid thing to do?
Where do folks like you come from? The Moon?

Not hardly, I watched it live on TV. The Christmas time when they read the scripture verse over the radio, My wife and I were out in the car necking, and we stopped and looked at the Moon, marveling that that is where that man was at that exact extant. :)
