He has the fastest ODI half century by an Indian......And you ask if he will be able to play in the ODIs.......Shame on you......
He is one of the most dependable and consistent player in the world.......He wouldn't get dropped anywhere else than India...........
Gosh..............We've got a funny board of executives who select the team....They select Sourav Ganguly who looks to be searching for the ball and they drop a man to whom the ball is nothing but a small speck of dust......He just stands tall in stance and gloriously strokes it around the park.......
He is the best No.3 Batsman we have......So it is high time the selectors realised thta and let him play in that position till he retires or a better No.3 comes through........

I think he is good player, that's why we call him the wall!! He has the capability to change the game in hard situations.Though he is slow he can sometimes accelerate if required. He is a good defensive player so he would be very good in Test matches. But there is no doubt that he can play well in ODI's Too.

in fast format cricket it is not only able to play . There is no use of his playing if gets run out every third inning, takes 100 balls to score 50 runs, can not flex to bend to stop crackling shots, can not sure with 300 lead england can be made to forced for follow on
He needs meditation to cool his head. He should spend 1 month in switzerland .

yes,of course..he's one of the best players in the world..why should such a gr8 player be 'rested'??its just hat they've looked at some of his recent scores and dropped him...he is a very good player who knows to keep his cool..he'll surely be able to play well anytime!
