An emphatic "no" on both counts. There is no logical reason why masturbation could make you gain weight. If anything, the excitement and increased heartrate might make you burn off a few extra calories (though it would probably be a negligible amount if you weren't "swinging from the rafters" so to speak!). As for it being a "sin"... That one's a matter of opinion but I have to say I find the old propaganda about masturbation being "harmful" to be pretty "sinful". Frightening people into not stimulating their own bodies is a tyrannical thing to do. I know some people would say your body is owned by God or your spouse but, IMO, it's ultimately *yours* (first and foremost) and masturbation is the safest form of sex there is because there's only one person involved (no hazy consent issues and nobody to contract an STD from). As with anything else, it is possible to get too much of a good thing but as long as w***ing doesn't take over your life, I see no problem.

It is the profession of a masterbaitor which is a person who can put the bait on a hook better than anyone else.
