It's too late for that....she should have thought about that when her husband was in the White House, making a total fool of her, with her & daughter Chelsea sitting in the next room!!
He ruined all of her chances of making her even 'seem honest'...then, she makes a three sixty and condones it all by saying, 'I still support my husband,' after all that sex in the white house was publicized on national television!
What a mess of an American family!!!!!! I feel sorry for their daughter, Chelsea...the agony they are putting her through!!! It must be silently traumatizing her!!!!

Not that you will understand this, but it takes a lot more strength to save a marriage than it does to pick up the phone and dial a divorce lawyer. Her strength is obvious in dealing with her husband. It's also obvious that they have found a way to move past this. The affection they show each other cannot be faked. Just as we could see the tension between them during the Lewinsky scandal, we can see the love and affection between them now.
Hillary's got a backbone of steel. I'm always amused by people who bring this up. They have no conception of what is inside anyone's marriage but their own, if they are even married themselves at all. But they routinely make a big deal out of this as if they know what Bill and Hillary have gone through, in private, in their darkest moments or what they had to go through to save their marriage. When this comes from Republicans it's twice as amusing considering so many of them are counting on a candidate whose personal life reads like a cheap novel. But that's okay because he's a conservative lol.

It's really not up to her to keep Bill faithful to her. He has his own brain and own free will. A real marriage is very different from a dictatorship; one partner does not have control over the other. There really is nothing, or at least very little, that justifies unfaithfulness. Foreign policy is very different from marriage; one involves politics and strategy. The other is built on trust and honesty. You can't treat your spouse the same as you would a dictator or someone you don't like. That can't possibly work.

I am not afraid and I am fairly vocal about it here on Y!A. I am a big believer in common moral decency. It seems as if whenever anyone speaks out in favor of moral issues, they are quickly torn down and told to shut up. I've seen it many times.

the same way as all women who stay in their marriage and work through problems. she had to listen to all the crap in the media and still raise a daughter.Bill may or may not be a jerk of a husband but that is for her to decide and deal with. it really is none of your business or mine. how can Bush say underage drinking is wrong, how can Cheney not be for gun control(he obviously can't control his) politicians have to go through personal trials just like the rest of us.
what does not kill you makes you stronger.
Hillary is probably very strong now.

An absolutely absurd argument. Plenty of great leaders throughout history have been married to unfaithful partners. It's just as absurd as those who claim that if a leader's underage daughter gets caught drinking in a bar, how can he be an effective leader if he can't control his own daughter?
You just don't like Hillary, is all.

She cannot. Before she admitted to knowing about the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal, she ridiculed Tammy Wynette by saying she was not a "Stand by Your Man" woman. Not only did she stand by him, she is using him to try to gain the office of Presidency. As an intelligent, independent woman, she makes me sick. She is the epitome of everything no self respecting woman would want to be.

First off, it's faithful. One L.
Second, pick one: either Dems are bad on family values or bad for actually keeping their families together. You can't have it both ways.
Judging from guys like Giuliani and Gingrich, the family thing is overrated.

Her "mate" evolved into a tool for her epic stab at the presidency. It is no longer a marriage, it ceased to be a marriage years ago, it is a business realtionship based on political calcualtion and a recognized name brand.
