How many other hockey players from rep, big time to adult feel like road food can ruin their game no matter if its greasy to healthy.

I remember a few times on the road ole Dave Siciliano made us eat Fazoil's for pre-game and by the time the game started it felt like I had an Oil tanker tied to my rear.

Was Dave really that bad? I always enjoyed spending time Dave. He was always good about letting me talk to his players when he coached the Flyers in TB

Just personal experience, but yeah, greasy food always tends to bring out the sloth in me. Once I eat it, I just don't want to move. Now, as opposed to something more healthier...okay, fine, anything that's not grease-filled or oilier than John Travolta's head in "Grease," I tend to have a bit more pep in my step.

I guess I gotta make this hockey related. Martin Brodeur eats plain spaghetti before every game, according to the article he was interviewed for in a Maxim magazine. It's the one with Monica Potter on the cover, but I can't remember the year though. It also has some funny stories of the Cup.

Yeah, it makes me feel sluggish. Although I'd take it over the one time I didn't eat anything all day then right before practice I had a small apple... big mistake. I had less energy then I would if I ate two Big Macs. lol

Can you imagine walking into Brodeurs house and looking in his cabinets? I bet its the Sam's Club of pasta.
