You would not have died.

You bled like that because your friend is not a professional piercer and did not know how to check your lip for big blood vessels. She nicked one piercing you and your lip took off bleeding all over the place. This is not good for your piercing.

The big purple splotch is a sort of bruise. It is blood that was trapped inside your lip. How bad this bruise really is decides how you need to deal with it. If it is nasty enough your doctor may even need to drain it. You need to take your lip to a trained professional as soon as possible. If it is more than a little dot of bruise, you need to have it looked at by someone who is qualified to treat you.

If you cannot afford to go to the doctor for some reason, go to your local body piercer. Tell them you were having a very stupid day, your friend pierced your lip, and ask what you need to do now. They will send you to the doctor if neccessary. If you don't need a trip to the doc, have them look at your piercing and see if it is positioned safely in your mouth.

A badly placed piercing can destroy your tooth enamel or chip the teeth themselves. This is incredibly expensive to fix later and not to mention looks quite gross. So have the piercer see if your friend at least got you pierced well enough to leave it in. If not, then TAKE IT OUT. Then let it heal completely and have it redone correctly by a pro.

In the meantime while you are on the way to have your lip checked out, be sure you are performing aftercare. Do a search for "piercing aftercare" on google and get some instructions that involve cleaning with saline solution (not rubbing alcohol or peroxide).

Get yourself to the piercer and make sure that leaving the piercing in isnt going to do even more damage to your mouth. In the future get your piercings done professionally so this kind of thing doesnt happen in the first place.

No, you need to lose a LOT of blood--WAY more than any that would come from your facial area (especially lip.)
I don't know what that is, but you should go to the doctor. Even if your friend has done it before, it doesn't mean it's really safe--in the future, go to a professional

If you get an infection, you could loose your lip. you could have cut a nerve that would cause you to loose the use of your lower face.

I doubt that you could have bled to death just hope that you don't get an infection from it. Never let a freind do what should be done by a professonal.
