Is it to early to be a Middle School drop out? I'm struggling and heard of kids doing it before. I'm mostly having a problem with my math and can't seem to raise my grade it’s stuck at a solid C+ I’m trying my hardest and I’m not making any progress?? If I drop out now will have an ok future? I'm so confused??

Um...ok...heres the deal.

I suck at math. In middle school I believe I got around a C or so, high school algebra I got a C- or D+ (I dont remember), geometry I got a B and then advanced alegra I had to drop the class becuase I was getting an F.

Now i'm in college and I got an A in one math class and now im in another and I have a B right now. If you work at it it gets easier. Dont worry too much about it right now.

If you drop out of school right now your pretty much screwed for the rest f your life. Trust me, stay in school. The best you can do is work in fast food or a gas station or something like that without a high school deploma or GED. Even so, I dont think you could be a cashier without knowing how to do simple math.

My suggestion would be to talk to your teacher about getting a tutor. If its your parents pushing you to get all A's, forget them. They dont know what its like now days. School gets harder every generation, and its not the same stuff they learned when they were your age.

Stick with it, and im sure you'll do just fine.

In the United States you can't drop out until you are 16. However if you can convince you parents to home school you poorly it would pretty much be the same thing.

DON'T DROP OUT!

1) you will get really bored
2) you will never be able to get a job
3) there are lots things other than math that you need to learn
4) you'll lose touch with some of your friends.

The only things you can really do are to stay after school, possibly get tutoring, or have someone else try and explain the math to you differently because everyone learns differently. Maybe you should just accept that math isn't your strong subject. A C+ is still passing so don't get too discouraged, besides it is still early in the school year.

Don't drop out. I know you might be having a rough time. I was horrible in middle school my grades were not great.. I went to high school and did great.. If you drop out you will miss out on all the oppurtunities of middle school and high school and you wont be able to get a good job in the future..These days you need at least a high school degree. College even better though! Just get help with class if you need it..having trouble is nothing to be ashamed of.

don't drop out but try to find better ways to study and raise your grade, which isn't all that bad at c+.
For one thing, go to a health food store and get some DMAE - about $6 - which is all natural and has been shown over some 20 years to increase your memory and concentration. I have taken it myself often and have recommended it to many others who have all thanked me for that and told me how much it helped them.
Use the internet and you can often find help on many sites to explain the problems and solutions better than some teachers do. Remember, a lot of those who drop out become mothers and then ex husband or wives and often have problems either getting or holding a job. It is better to graduate with a c than to not graduate at all.

You statistically speaking will as a drop out have a terrible future and will regret dropping out of school.

While C+ is not a great mark it is passing.

Speak privately to your math teacher and ask for his suggestions. Study math with a Friend. There are excellent on line free tutoring services. Attend extra math help classes at your school if they are available. Consider hiring a math tutor.

If you consider working in fast food a future.
Why don't you go to tutoring or retake that math next year?
You should definitely finish high school even if it's with bad grades. I've never heard of someone dropping out and not regretting it years later.

your grades before HS are tossed once you graduate 8th grade, did you know that? Get into high school, graduate, then reevaluate your life. graduating high school is a piece of cake if you stay away from drugs and alcohol

I had a D average in high school, graduated from a major university, got wealthy. Lesson here is, later on in your life you may find something that perks your interest so DO NOT DROP OUT.
