Same reason why he isnt stratigically smart with Israel or any nation who is his ally.
In his dictionary,
good=anybody who agrees with him
bad=anybody who dont agree with him or israel
eg iran,syria

What a joke this question is in light of the fact that liberals have been trying to demonize Bush for fighting AlQaida in Iraq since 2003. Liberals would whine even louder if Bush sent troops into Pakistan.

Strategically smart, lol - that is really a sneaky trap question.
Was tactically smart to tell musharaf if he doesn't quit nuclear
proliferation and funding terror, and allows unlimited usa bases
"now", the country will be simply taken, and its president first.
It was about Afghanistan yet and Osama (once upon the time)
so the Pakistan leader knew he got a whole world against him.

It's alleged that many high-ranking personnel within Pakistani intelligence, senior military officers and even officials within Musharraf's civilian gov't either have ties to or are sympathetic to the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Musharraf is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Yet, his recent actions have only added fuel to the fire.
BushCo not only failed to be wiser in their dealings with Musharraf but also failed to foresee the consequences of their actions in neighboring Afghanistan, with Taliban forces "spilling" over the border into tribal areas of Pakistan, creating a new safe haven for terrorists.

What makes you think they have regenerated themselves in Pakistan? The Taliban is the forces that control the region and they are still there, this isn't a regenerated force we are dealing with but our and the Afghanistan's dealing with what is left.

He did a great job getting Musharaf to become an ally. SHort of going to war with Pakistan he did all that was humanly possible considering all the left wing neo-Fondas we have in this country and who would never support their country in time of war. Just look at how those code pink disgraceful traitors conduct themselves now!

Do you have to be told the obvious? Pakistan, Spain, and England are our allies and they also have Al Queda cells in them. So where should we start invading?

Simple, he left it to our Pakistan ally to control the problem. Isn't that what liberals refer to as" working thru" our allies?
