No... but I have had it slid out the room to go get a cold beer .... and since it brought me one back.... I've begun to think of it as a good friend.

The only time my TV has done that is late at night if the channel you are watching goes off the air and there is just snow on the screen it will shut down!!

I don't think so but I last shut it off myself in May and haven't switched it on since. Good riddance!

My cousin said he had one that did that once. I've never had it happen to me but I've had two where the picture tube blew up and smoke rolled out of them. It stinks too. LOL.

not only did it shut itself off! it wouldnt let me make love to it or vacuum my tube.
