You've got that right. It's like the sixties all over again.

I think you missed the entire point of education....you're SUPPOSED to have opinions about 'facts'! Except maybe math and certain sciences', everything else is opinion prone. I'm teaching US history...certain things 'happened'...we know this from the original documents and first person accounts, but the question is always, 'why did certain things happen and not other things'? Who were the real players? Why did certain educated people believe one way and others, equally educated, believe something else? Could they have both been wrong? There's a huge arena for 'opinion' if you ask a question like, 'Why is the world the way it is, and not some other way?' Conclusions may prove to be wrong and the course of action by historical figures may have led us down a wrong path or over a cliff. ...or not! Hitler vs. FDR...the forward looking energy policies of Carter vs the 'oil only' energy policies of Reagan and now Bush. Simple 'facts', like Columbus discovered America may be 'factual', but that doesn't explain Columbus or his times. Since he's dead and left few clues, anything we say about him is 'opinion'...and that's a good thing!

Hey, I may be 16, but I am the youngest graduate in my class....
SENIORS '08!
....and I am carrying an "A" in AP US Government and Politics right now! I also have been placing in the top 6 places for Student Congress (division of Speech and Debate) where we discuss and form bills and resolutions based on current events, so I think I am rather well informed.

Absolutely.
I have never seen so many silly questions and requests to do home work for people.
I don't know what their teachers are teaching them if anything.

They aren't all teenagers. Liberals never grow up. They hold on to the fallacies they were taught in school by socialist America-hating teachers and will try to censor everyone who challenges their fallacies.

Questions such as why Bush and Cheney are still in office - why haven't they been impeached? This question and the many similar ones tend to validate your conclusion.

Hopefully the young pups can learn about the reality based
