YEA!! I never thought about it like that! But soo soo true..I used to lie soo much and get caught up in it..so bad that it seemed like my whole life was a lie..I guess I was only wishing things were better for me..I notice I don;t lie as much now..and Im finally really happy and satisfied with my life.

That wouldn't make lies LIKE wishes, it would make them the result of wishes. If you wish something were true, you are acknowledging that it is false. So you have to take the extra step of lying about it.

Twinkle toez: in basic terms for the reason that's written down would not make it authentic. stop quoting thousand 12 months previous scripture and attempt reasoning with human beings, it works extra regularly than what you're doing, which has labored 0 circumstances. The Bible is in basic terms a e book, manage it. To the question: are you able to coach there is not any God to forged human beings into hellfire? because of the fact in case you may no longer then you won't be able to say with out doubt they are lies with out being as undesirable because of the fact the persons who pronounced those issues interior the 1st place. you notice, you in basic terms landed your self the burden of evidence by applying asserting there is not any Immortal Soul, and as many atheists such as you prefer to point out, there is extremely no thank you to coach or disprove the unfalsifiable.

yep, it's called a pathological liar. They have a skewed perception on life. They actually beleive their own lies. Or you are a dude in a bar trying to pick up a chick and you wish you were something else so you "pretend" to be something else, i.e. lie about it.

I see what you're saying, but it's not always true. Sometimes you wish for the actual truth to continue to be true, but hiding the truth is necessary in order to avoid adversity.

I'm wealthy, I'm rich--not to mention famous and loved by millions. Ah, it's just a pack of lies--I mean wishes.

This is very often, so true.
An ancient TARHEEL philosopher (Mom) used to say, "Wish in one hand and, Crap in the other and, see which hand gets full first". Mom never really said crap but, You get the picture.

I have known people that do this. My sister has convinced herself of her lies. I have never really did it but it could happen if I allowed it. Good question.
