I don't allow myself to. When it says, "Yea though I want through the valley of the Shadow of Death..." the key word is through. We don't stay in it.

On my way to work I tend to ponder my thoughts to fill the void. Unfortunately my life is missing companionship and I don't have a dog anymore. I guess I never realized how much we depended on each other for support until he died. If you have never lost a pet you won't know the feeling. I was lucky to have such good animals as pets. We were like a team for a decade and one half. The void will be there for a long time maybe even after I mold another pair. If I have the time I will create a replica of the first two when the time is right. One thing that happened to me is that I have a much greater respect for every moment of life. In other words, if you can make something or someone happy for a while it is always a worth while endeavor.
