does anyone seriously think socialistic programs and socialist ideas are compatible with our republic and constitution. If socialism is so great why has every country practicing it gone broke, and are running from it. Europe is a great example, over burdening taxes, stagnant economies, huge unemployment, low GDP. Do you think Benjamine Franklin or HOMAS Jefferson would approve of socialism or call for a revolution to stop it?

Bush is not a "conservative" he is the closest thing today to a democrat of the 60s and 70s. Bush could have easily ran as a Dem 20 or 30 years ago and won, the dems are now completely as a party, far left socialist.

Only a fool would think that socialism is compatible with capitalism. If Franklin and Jefferson came back today with what we have now as a government, Jefferson would start writing another Declaration of Independence, Franklin would be speechless, and Washington would be raising a army.

I do and there's a big difference between socialism capitalism and the social Darwinism the American right seems to advocate. It's absolutely necessary to have social corrections to the so called free market or child labor would still be legal as would slavery. When child labor was abolished the same arguments were made. The American right needs to sop trying to scare people about socialism and admit they advocate social Darwinism aka law of the jungle.

it style of feels to me like the only reason socialism has this variety of undesirable recognition between Christians is by using the completed "faith is the opiate of the loads" ingredient that Marx pushed (yet which wasn't a cornerstone of his ideology). in actuality, in case you inspect the e book of Acts, there are passages describing how a minimum of the countless early Christians lived in fact a communal existence, retaining each and every thing in uncomplicated (do no longer bear in mind financial disaster and verse, sorry). If something, i think of capitalism must be greater sinful than socialism by way of fact it demands human beings to interrupt the 10th commandment as a manner to function (if all of us stopped coveting our neighbor's supplies and have been content with what we had, the place might we get shopper spending from?). of direction, any financial gadget created by potential of human beings is going to be flawed and sinful; that is in straightforward terms a count of degree.
