Well usually I'm so lazy I don't want to do anything and just crash and drink Mountain Dews 24/7

I'm so lazy I don't even want to wake up to go to church on Sundays. I really miss it but since I started working I'm just so tired all the time.

I so wish I could just stay home and do nothing. At least sleep in and then do something.

Laziness equals sloth. Sloth is one of the seven deadly sins. To me a sin is something that directly damages me and those around me, and ultimately also has an effect on the greater good. Laziness, not occasional lack of motivation, means an unwillingness to make a move in any direction and to take any type of action for any reason. Lazy people do not have a sense of moral, social or political responsibility. They are a drain on the lives of those who love them, on society and on the economy. They don't care and they have a sense of entitlement. Through their selfish behaviors and attitudes they hurt others at every level. And, as much as they hurt others they are destructive to themselves because they alienate those who would love them and destroy what is the best within themselves. This is sinful.

Unless there is some thing medically wrong with you, what you surely need is a resounding Kick on your back, delivered by your self(very important for self respect) ,which simply implies that you have to snap your self out of self imposed infirmity or disability.Since you did what you did,it's you now who can undo it and set a new life style in place. It wouldn't be easy but not very difficult either.Do I hear you getting up to do it?Great and don't stop now.Good luck.

It depends. lol
If it affects others, like a lazy mother who never plays with her kids, gives them kool aide and potatoe chips, doesn't keep them clean, yup.
Or a father who doesn't support a child. Yup.
Or a kid who steals work from other kids beucase they're too lazy to do their own, yup.

But just not cleaning your room beucase you feel lazy? Nope.
Or letting the kids trash the coffee table book becuase your'e too lazy to get up, nope.

We all need down time. To make it a habit to be lazy is such a waste of time...Once today is gone you can never get it back...It is not a sin...

The lazy one is showing himself desirous, but his soul has nothing. However, the very soul of the diligent ones will be made fat.
