Your doctor is doing what's best for you; follow advise.

High blood pressure is when MOST times your blood pressure is above 140/90; and you have no other risk factors.

You're overweight; that is a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. In your case, with one risk factor your blood pressure should be 130/80 or lower MOST times taken.

Keeps losing weight and don't forget to exercise average at least 30 min daily.
And above all take your meds. and listen to your doctor. He's got your best health in mire.

Sorry but I'm having a hard time following your question.
If your blood pressure is 115/60, then that is a good reading.
If your doctor wants you to stay on the medication for your blood pressure, I would stay on it or your blood pressure could go back up again.

I had a little bit of a hard time following that. From what I understand, your blood pressure was good today, and you have been taking blood pressure medications. It sounds like the medications are working properly.

If I understand the question, you had high blood pressure, are taking blood pressure meds and now it is normal.

So the medication is working and you should continue to take it. High blood pressure can't be cured, it can only be controlled. When you take the meds your blood pressure will be good, if you stop taking it, it will go back up.
