without needing psychiatric help- imperiority complex is sort of being extremely shy or no self confidence... :(

You mean an inferiority complex.

You need to value yourself, understand that who you are and what you do has worth. Take a look at your life, see how you contribute, what your gifts happen to be, how you affect others.

Don't compare yourself to other people though, that is dangerous and wrong. Ask yourself why you feel this way.

There are many good books out there regarding self-esteem. Find some and begin reading what they say will help you to become more confident. Good luck.

Don't care what people think about you too much.

Stop looking at yourself because the world doesn't stop for you when you fall in a ditch. Pay more attention to others around you instead of focusing on yourself.

Too much focus on yourself will drive you deeper into insecurity.
