okay i'm 14/15 and today i brought a bra. i didn't know my size but i know that i'm either a or b around there any way.. i tried some bra;s and and found 10a to be okay. but i don't know if that's the correct one.

I don't have the measuring tape to measure myself and i don't want other people to measure me cause i find it embarassing & don't wanna expose my body to strangers. so does anyone know how to find out if i have the wrong bra size etc like hurting breasts etc.. any experience?

Wrong size if:
Too tight if it's hard to breathe with the bra on
Too tight if it's cutting into your skin anywhere
Too tight if there are "dimples" across your shoulders
Too tight if your breasts are sticking out over the top of
the bra under your armpits or sticking out over the top of
the bra across your chest
Too tight if the strap that's supposed to be around your
back is actually riding high up around your neck.

Too big if you can easily pull on your bra at the nipples
and you pinch up nothing but your new bra.
Too big if when you jump up your boobs fall out.
Too big if there is enough room to stick extra stuff
in your bra like tissue
Too big if when you look in the mirror your chest is not
nice and smooth but looks "wrinkly" like you have on
2 shirts

Uhm, bras are supposed to be tight. If you got measured at three shops than 32B is probably your right size. The bra is tight because its not supposed to ride up or down. Mine leaves marks too, so don't worry. And I guess you are new to wearing bras or whatever, so it will take a bit of time to get used to. Make sure you don't sleep with it though, cause the tightness slightly constircts the airway. BUT its safe!!! I'm just saying, take it off if you don't have to wear it and you'll get used to it. Good luck!

Go to Victoria's Secret and have a saleswoman measure you. It will be weird, but you don't have to take your clothes off. They are very professional and aren't trying to make you feel uncomfortable. They will find your size and actually bring you a few to try on. Your bra is not the right size if you have to add an extender for the clasp, or if you raise your hands and your bra moves up a lot then it probably doesn't fit.

There are all kinds of different bra brands
They all fit differently and make your breasts look and shape differently.

I know if it is right or wrong if I can reach up and the bra stays put snugly.
You don't want to leave with the wrong size
What if you reach up while you are wearing it after you buy it and your boobs pop out
It would be pretty embarrassing
You were smart to try it on before you bought it of it may not fit at all
before you buy any bra word of advise:
MAKE SURE IT IS COMFY!!!
Good luck!!!

well it shouldn't be so loose that you're not getting any support. and i think it's one of those things that you'll know when you try on the right bra that it's perfect- it just feels right and is comfortable. also, it shouldn't be too tight, either. and you may want to ask your mom for help because she'll know what size you are, how to measure you, etc. because she's already gone through all of this.

hope this helps!! and good luck!!

if you don't want people to measure you buy a tape measure and then visit this site it helps a lot! but back pain, straps digging in, any presure marks, lose feeling, etc are all comman symptoms of a wrong sized bra

You really have to measure to get the right size, but one general rule of thumb is that you want the band to be a little bit on the snug size.

This site has a calculator, it may seem awkward but going to Victoria Secret or somewhere else they do it, it best becasue then you can go try on the size they give you. Hope this site works though.

Most big stores like JC PENNEY VICTORIA SECRET have women that are trained in helping with those kind of things. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Allow me to ask you this,,would you or will you ever go to an OBGYN for check up or if you had to?
