I feel that way sometimes, Im a lot older, with a long time friend that i knew for 20 years. We dont get along anymore (due to things hes doing) and I dont really have any friends now. Just old friends I see once in a blue moon. Friends come and go. For now just try to be close to your family. When it comes down to it, they are the ones who really care about you. You'll make new friends probably real soon.
Go do something for you. Join a club, take up a hobby. Excercise.
Keep looking up. Things will change.

There's a saying that nothing in life ever stays the same. Everything grows and changes. These friends will probably continue to be friends, it might just be a time when someone "up above" is telling you to reach out and find more friends....grow in your friendships! Try not to take it as a threat, or a loss, but gain new friends and relationships to expand your base of friends! Try getting involved in some new clubs or groups....so that you don't dwell on what's upsetting you. Good luck!

I have a 15 year old daughter....and yes, this is something that you go thru. Teenagers changed friends and boyfriends like their clothes......it won't be until your far out of highschool that you realize most of that never mattered. But, since I know that does'nt help you now (something my daughter would say), try to make friends with other people, maybe you will find a life long friend in someone you never imagined....until then there is always your mom!!! (lol) my daughter would roll her eyes. Good luck dear!

I felt that way alot as a teen. I was so freakin' awkward! Don't worry about it! It passes! Find a new group to chat with at lunch, try to make a new friend. If it gets worse, talk to your doctor about anti depressants. Zoloft is the reason that I made it through high school alive!

Im not too sure wht to tell you.....i mean, its something that many of us has gone through or will go through. But staying home and being sad wont help find any frinds. try going out..parks, movies, get a job if you dnt have one, even taking the city can have you meet a new friend. if that doesnt help then email me....we can be friends...

everyone goes through that. its not a stage but a life lesson in general. not just in your teen years but even as an adult you learn how people are, meet other new people and hopefully get close with them too. now just because they moved on doesnt mean you cant either. whether its parties or clubs or whatever, you're bound to meet someone who will have the same interests as you and you guys will click. there, a friendship starts! :)

Join a club. Get involved in a special interest or Civic group. Seek out people with interests similar to your current ones. Get involved in something you used to enjoy. Get out there and get involved! You will find new friends. I had to do the same thing as my friends drifted away. Best of luck!

Start making new friends. Observe what you like in them.... are there any common interest you have with some of them? Don't close your door making friends because some of your friends moved to another group. That's what kids are. That's part of growing up.... looking for a place where you can fit in. Cheer up.

losing friends is very common in high school. people develop different interests, and you realize you have less in common with some old friends than they thought. you can't change the fact that your old friend has drifted away, but you can try to develop some new friendships. try some new activities, sports, clubs, hobbies, take music lessons...take responsibility for your own happiness. good luck.
