No. You don't even use the battery for much when the engine is running. It's either an alternator that loses voltage when it goes faster (It does happen) or a bad ground between the engine and the chassis that gets worse when the engine moves a little as you hit the gas.

Sounds like the alternator, get it checked or it will kill your battery
