My wife and I did an allowed person of choice each and it led right down the road for her to have 3 affairs I know of, that means lots more sex happened then I'll ever know. We have remained married but its no longer a good marriage and I expect it to end when my kids are out of high school. Her infidelity after the second time was enough for me to seek out some sexual friendship of my own. So you are playing with fire, open that door and anything can happen. Looking back, I wish none of this ever happened in my marriage.

Well your marriage is pretty much over. Both of you are OK with the other having sex with someone else?????? It's done. Whatever decision you make, it's only a matter of time before one of you files for divorce. So go with whatever feels right deep down inside. And if that is to say No, next thing you need is counseling. There is something deeper going on. After 12 years you are suddenly not enough for each other and that is not a good sign.

No. Sexual intimacy is a central element in marriage. It is an area that is shared between a man and woman in a way that no others in their life can share with them. Sex becomes a sacred distinction in a marriage from all other types of relationships.
When others are brought into the equation, there is a belittling of what sexual intimacy must accomplish and it becomes something that is only material...physical, and will never rise above that again.

It's ok if there is boundaries, or limitation. Is this idea to open a gate to open sex or only for this time to fulfill a fantasy, then it wil not happen anymore?
If only to explore and experience another variety, then no problem. For me as wife to older man for more than 7 years, I had an experienced sex once outside my married life. My hubby arranged it for me and his younger male friend one night. It was great. Still this moment our married relationship still getting stronger.

I think if you sit down as a couple and really talk about it it would be ok. Set rules and limits to the situation. But if you aren't at all comfortable with it then don't do it. Sometimes a fantasy is ment to be just that a fantasy. It works for some married couples but not all. It all depends on you and your wife and how you both honestly feel about it.

There is fantasy.
There is reality.
I keep a firm boundary between the two.
I think fantasies can be exciting in thought but if they become reality, it might not turn out like you were thinking it would.

That's messed up. I would have a lot of jealousy. How do you expect to be good in a relationship with another person, when you are open to having more than one person in an intimate relationship?

I'm stunned every time I see this type of question. To answer your question, no, I wouldn't do it.
This has "disaster" written all over it. I sure hope you don't ever go through with this. I also hope you don't have any kids.
