He's out of control--staying out late at nights, using drugs and alcohol, hanging out with the wrong kids, defying parental authority and skipping school. His mother and I have decided that a boarding school that provides therapy, a regular schedule, plenty of exercise and positive morals is the best option at this time. Where do we start and what questions should we ask? There are a lot of websites and it's hard to determine what to believe.

Hmm. Maybe speaking to some therapists or rehab centers (the people in charge) could help give you some options for them. Maybe even school officials (private and public) could help.

Defiantly do your research first though! Take a tour of the ones you end up considering. You don't want to send him to something that's borderline correctional facility/military school. That's the last thing he needs right now. Sending an already rebelling child into a situation where you're told, 'Do this or else!' is just going to make them rebel more. A nice scheduled school, but one that still leaves the kids options, is a great choice. Make sure there's some fun too. If not, your child will get so bored, and lonely that he'll resort to unhealthier activities (like now), or try to run away.

young babies (even pre-young babies) can replace into depressed and function stress problems. Panic assaults could be on the subject of melancholy yet are often no longer. If the panic assaults replace into greater customary then your son fairly needs to work out a psychiatrist because of fact your son could be screened for different problems and (optimistically) the final prognosis could be got here across and taken care of. And a actual examination with the aid of his pediatrician is critical (whether he had one a year in the past) incase there is an underlying scientific problem reason the panic assaults. it fairly is quite good you're taking him to a physician the next day. Having many panic assaults often finally leads to Panic ailment (with or without agoraphobia). And Panic ailment is many times greater tricky to handle than different stress problems. i replaced into precisely 13 whilst i began out to have problems. and that i've got panic ailment with agoraphobia. those issues do ensue. I even have been to A&E/ER countless situations for panic assaults (that as you are able to wager is a demonstration that it fairly is transforming into to be a difficulty) attempt to no longer problem your self too plenty. purely view this as a 'crimson flag' and if issues expand then get him the final therapy
