When I think about it, yes, I am lucky, but just don't always appreciate it.
My last, big good luck thing happened when I was included in an all expenses trip to Vegas furnished by my one friends boss. He paid for 5 of us to go and it was a great time! We just went last April.

Lucky beyond reason. I have been in several situations where I should have died. Almost fell off the side of a cliff when I was climbing down, been in two major car accidents that I walked away from, live better than most of the people in the world (still considered poor in money, but I have food, shelter, and people that love me. Everything else is just stuff), been shot at twice (one time the bullet whizzed by my head and missed, the other time a bull landed right beside me on the cushion of the booth I sat in). I finally found my passion in life, what I want to do for the rest of my life. I have a loving husband that puts up with me and what is left of my family (not many of us left). Was priviledged to know my wonderful, flawed, intelligent, unique parents. I lost my Dad to Alzheimer's in 1999 and my Mom to a rare blood disease just this January. I've lost my older sister, all my uncles and aunts.

But I can say without a doubt I am one of the luckiest people I know. I have a roof over my head and food in my stomach (too much food, actually). I'm happy, I'm loved, I'm as safe as I can be as an average, middle-class woman.

Damned lucky, I'd say. :)

I've always thought of myself as a lucky person and even when things dont go so well I know it will get better. Maybe thats fate. I was just recently going to go on a flight to visit my hubby and had to cancel for health reasons and was disappointed then a flight came available a week later and with this came free accomodation. Which I wouldnt have got had I gone the week before. Luck? Fate?

Not really I mean I have a good family and all but my life hasn't been anywhere near lucky I mean when I was 11 I found out my dad had cheated on my mom for about since I was 9 and I still can't believe he did that I mean I knew our family wasn't perfect and I already hated him most of the time because he blamed me for everything but what he did to my mom just took the cake He is just one big fat Jack A$$.

luck is a state of mind. It is relieving oneself from stress and bad energy i guess you can say and labeling this faithful event as lucky. I'm lucky because i'm grateful for what i have. I'm lucky because i have earned it. I have gained my wealth, my love and respect from others, a fiancee and several close best friends, and a loving family. Most people tend to be pessimists even when they are down in the slums or filthy rich, it's human nature.

I am generally a lucky person. I am pregnant with my first born son, and although there have been some snags along the way, everything has turned okay.... Now I am just waiting for him to come out into the world. ;)

Lucky? I went to get some therapy and ended up falling in love with a great woman, and she loves me back! Oh, and, I get to do everything I need to in just two rooms right next to each other.
