troy smith, he won the heisman for these reasons: that hes fast, could run the option, had a RB to back him up, two wide recivers that could catch anything, a healthy defense, and a O-line, and he was in the championship game
the ravens: somewhat good RB, a good left tackle when hes healthy, and the option never works in the NFL. im not sure how well hed do

Heisman Trophy winner that went in the 5th round of the draft. He had to go there for some reason. I doubt it's because he is underrated. Haven't seen him play since that embarrassing performance in the national championship game.

Well lets see he was drafted late in the draft, he is 3rd string behind a aging injury prone Mcnair and a bumbling Kyle Boller. If he was so good dont you think the Ravens would have played him by now? Think about it they did win a superbowl with Trent Dilfer so i think the ravens are willing to start crappy QB's trying to win. So how can he be under rated if he isnt even rated?

he was the last qb taken in the draft! how is he overhyped? he did what only one osu quarterback did ... beat michigan 3 times. he also is the only big 10 qb to win a heisman. he isnt overhyped. he got lazy. plus trussel got outcoached ... again ... hmmmm and it was against the spread? you dont say!?

i think he is a good player and may be somewhat underrated but not much. he is better than todd boeckman.

Honestly, he can't be much worse than McNair or Boller. I say give him a chance. It's worth a shot since McNair isn't going to be their QB next year.
