Mostly, yes. Although there are some days that I'd like to curl up in a ball in the closet and close the door!

Emotionally yes , I've had to be for a long time. Mentally , well there are a few lapses in memory now and again, but yeah I still think I'm pretty strong mentally. Physically, I used to be strong .....

Unfortunately, I have had to be very strong emotionally and physically. I would just love it were someone else take all the responsibility, the lifting, the toting...but it falls to me to make sure all runs right, everyone is relatively happy, and in emergencies, it always falls on me to solve the problem, stop the bleeding, whatever.... And I suspect I come across that way... most people are somewhat intimdated by me at first, which is nothing short of ridiculous! Phil

I know I have to be very strong mentally although I don't feel like it at the moment. The approaching holidays always make me feel blue and weak. But, I have survived the death of my first husband(suicide), my Dad dying of cancer and my Mom dying(suicide) in a 4 year period. I have no children, so I was pretty much alone. It has made me stronger.

I would say I'm very strong . After what we've been through the last 15 years, I'm still here and I still see the good in people and try to be positive. I think we are here to learn lessons but I'm still having a hard time learning forgiveness.

Yes, I would have to say I am very strong to have gone through some of the things I have in my life.

Yes. If only you knew the story of the last 15 years, since Roger died. At 45. I'm strong.

Like Goldwing, I'm the one who always is asked to handle every crisis that come around. It's not so much that I think of myself as being strong, but that I have to be strong. I always seem to be able to "take care of business," even if I sometimes feel weak, stupid and incompetent. I guess maybe I'm not, but it sure feels that way sometimes.

Oh, God yes, with what I am going through now, I'm wondering why I'm not in the Loonie Bin right now. Things have got to get better. Just when I think I have turned the corner, something else comes to punch me in the stomach.

My but yes. I can come across as a ball of fluff but let the going get tough and I rise to the occasion. I'm the one that grabs the bleeding child, applies pressure and gets to the hospital, the one who cleans up after a friends a suicide, that inner strength comes when I'm not even aware i possess it.
