well, since the doc. was dead then they would work on the patient...but if they could save the doc. then I think a back up crew would come in and save the doc.

If a doctor dies in sugery, then a few things will happen right away.
Firstly, the surgery would most likely be stopped and a first assistant or another surgeon would stabilize and start to close the patient unless it was very certain that another surgeon was available and it was essential that the surgery be completed.
Secondly, if they were available, one or two of the nurses attending would tend to the doctor immediately, but in any event a code would be called in the hospital for additional help. That will arrive within a minute or two, which should be plenty of time. The new team would tend to the doctor.

Well if the guy died there isn't really much point of taking care of him! But I would hope that a few doctors would take care of the doctor and the rest would keep working with the patient.

Well, if the doctor died, I don't think they'd work on him. They'd probably have the other doctors work on the patient while a couple of the doctors and some other hospital workers came in so they could take the doctors body away.

They would probably keep working on the patient and call in the nurses to work on the doctor.

They would continue with the patient and have the doctor treated by another doctor. Remember there is more than one doc in a hospital... hopefully.

They'd call the code (blue) and continue working on the patient. The rapid response team would arrive with the crash cart and begin treating the doctor.

in any surgery room, there are two to three doctors working and plenty of nurses, two would still take care of the patient and the other doctor and nurses would take care of the doctor

I assume since the doctor is dead, they would actually work on the patient and call the orderlies to get the dead doc out.
