Does anyone else find people who debunk stuff like ghosts and aliens and other unknown things. . . cocky and annoying?
Or is it just me?

That is the problem. Instead of debunking, why not try to "prove" that something really does exsist?
Most peoples minds are closed due to what they have learned from school, friends, religions ect.....
It is really kinda sad to live in a shell. Maybe they feel "more" comfortable not knowing, Ya think???

It would appear that's what they're paid to do. There does seem to be some questionable stuff out there that may be fake anyway. They do still kinda remind me of an annoying bird like a Crow making noises to distract us from thinking and enjoying ourselves.

It's just you. If you did what your nick says, you wouldn't be annoyed when people challenge your beliefs, you'd enjoy it.
