I have made an overseas purchase. The seller has requested my credit card info. Is it safe to send this via email?

The business is Cordier Antiques and Fine Art and the purchase was made through Ebay Live Auctions, however there is no Paypal or similar payment methods accepted, only credit card details to the seller or international bank cheque.

Only give your information to secure servers. Beginning with (https) That e-mail thing smells fraud.

No, absolutely not. Didn't they have a website or go through paypal? Email is not secure someone else could get your info or they could take it and use it and you never get your order.
Ask them about a paypal account and try to get it processed through there - it'll be better for both of you.

nope! only do it through a program that is ment to do it. otherwise your card's pry gonna get jacked and youll loose a fair amount of money before you catch the guy who thinks hes smart enough to pull this off.
