All solids are solid at the room temperature except one mercury. Good luck with the project

No, it's a flammable metal that reacts with steam and vinegar. It also reacts with organic halides in ether solutions to form reactive carbanionic Grignard reagents.

It used to be used as a flash powder for photography before flashbulbs with aluminum filaments wer invented, because it burns bright white to form magnesium oxide (MgO).

It's used in lightweight alloys such as the one used to make mag wheels.

And it's NOT a transition metal, it's an alkaline earth metal like calcium is. Manganese is a transition metal.

THERE are only 2 liquid on periodic table at room temp

mercury and bromine

no the only liquid elements are bromine and mercury at room temp. magnesium is a transition metal.
