I just found out my husband has been having an affair so I had to pack up my two kids and move in with my parents. My father hits both me and my kids and there is nothing I can do about it because of fear. Is there anyway to make money quick so I can afford to get my kids away from this environment and get a good enough lawyer so that I don't have to share custody with my horrible drug addict cheating husband?

First of all, I'm 19. I got married to this loser because I got pregnant with our now 1 year old son. We also have a 1 month old son together. I'm already living with my parents. He is in the Army so I didn't have to work. I just took care of the kids. Now I have nothing to fall back on.

You're doing the best thing ever to get away from your husband. There really is no way to make money fast unless you already have plenty! I've tried! You have to work hard and make the best of what you are capable of doing.! If your father hits you and your kids, then I wouldn't even get close to there! Ask a friend for help, or whoever you know you can trust! Wish I could tell you more! No-one needs to be abused no matter what the reason! There is no excuse! Good luck!

Here's what you need to do. First, stop sleeping with him. If he's a cheating drug addict, chances are good you could catch some disease from him. Second, don't bring divorce or leaving up. Third, collect PROOF that he's a drug addict and cheater. Video tape him getting high. Collect phone records of their calls and follow him, and tape him with his girlfriend. Go to your local family court. You can get a divorce and custody without a lawyer, or they'll find you a cheap one. You're not Erica Kane. You don't need a high priced lawyer to get rid of a drug addict bum.
In the meantime, get a job so you can pay your bills. He doesn't sound like he'll be a good source for child support. Why are you even thinking about moving back in with your parents? You're a grown woman with children. Grow up and take responsibility for yourself.
When you're all ready, wait for a night when he's sitting around smoking the dope and call the police. Don't warn him. Just call and keep and eye out for them to show up. Go open the door for them without him knowing and walk them into the room he's getting stoned in. When they take him, don't bail him out. Go to the family court the next day and get a restraining order to keep him out.
Then accept your responsibility for picking a loser as a spouse and father for your kids. You shouldn't put that burden on your parents, family members, or your friends.

I would try to find other relatives to live with or a close friend if possible for a short time so u can build up a some wealth to make it on your own. You need to get out of your current situation asap.

Go to a shelter for abused women rite away, they will help you stay away from these MEN, (your dad&husband are poor examples ). These shelters are normally ran by people like yourself, and they know all the ins&outs of these matters!! I'm truly sorry to hear of your situation!! Good luck, and MAY GOD BLESS

Contact your local domestic violence program and social services too-they will help with a free lawyer and get you out of where you are-please do this ASAP your children and you are in danger.
