for the past few weeks my turn signals have been either working fine or not working at all. But now it seems that they dont work more often than they work. I checked the fuses on the side inside my car and by the engine but they are good. what can be wrong i hate using hand signals besides its getting too cold for that now.

check all the bulbs for blown filaments, especially look for corrosion around the base on both the bulb and the holder.
check the flasher can for being stuffed. they are hard to test, so just buy a new on (they're about $5 worth)

Well if both sides dont work its most likely your turn signal switch ( the handle that you move) if they are not working wiggle it to see if it works if it makes no difference you need to look at the wiring and find out how it works.

First, turn on your lights fixtures and examine for a foul or blown bulb....or you in all likelihood have a foul flasher. bypass to vehicle Zone or an identical place, and that they are going to hook you up with a sparkling one, or maybe print out deploy training. it is going to be a standard plug in deploy, i think of, located in or close to the fuse panel. Plus a flasher isn't high priced. desire this information helped

Replace the blinker relay before you tear into the steering column.. That's a common failure and it only costs a couple of bucks.
