Hi, you can living in the Chicago, the weather is very cold. I believe you should choose The Northface, at least 700 ct. in downjacket, higher ct. is more warmer. I tried several brands' downjacket, only The Northface is the best. Moreover The Northface's puff jacket also warmer than other brands, its technical is the best.

don't get a fur coat. in case you would be jogging plenty and taking public transit (as antagonistic to using or getting rides), then get a great down coat. i do no longer know what style mine is, whether that's respectable. It has a detachable hood, too. whilst that's totally chilly out, I even tend to positioned on tights or yet another pair of pants below my denims (thermal undies below your clothing works too), and that i will layer countless tops decrease than my sweater. For the clothing precise next on your dermis, that's good to positioned on fabric that wick away moisture. you would be comfier that way. you like a hat, gloves and a headband, too. This previous winter replaced into notably mild. I in basic terms had to do what I defined above approximately 2 or thrice all winter.

You'd want to avoid ski or snowboard jackets if your looking for something more heavily insulated. I'd recommend a snowmobile jacket from Choko Design. Choko is a Canadian apparel maker so their jackets are definetely made for harsh winter weather. I have a Choko jacket and it doesn't disappoint, heavily insulated and fleece lined, warm even with just a t-shirt under! You'll get allot for your money also, you can buy a Choko jacket as a set with snow bib pants for as low as $130! There are 2 other styles for $155 and $200. A North Face Nuptse Jacket or similar premium brand down jacket will cost $200 or more. Here are the links to the Choko outfits, stay warm from top to bottom without paying too much.
