I thought it would be on the triangle....but i just need a second opinion

You are correct!

The orthocenter on a right triangle would be directly on the 90° vertex, so the answer is *on* the triangle, not in the triangle.

The orthocenter is defined as the intersection of the "altitudes" of each of the 3 sides. All 3 of the altitudes will go directly through the 90 degree angle as shown in the attached picture.

not necessarily, you can have an obtuse scalene where some of those will not fall inside the triangle, especially the circumcenter.
