I was at a Philadelphia Flyers game last night in Philadelphia. During the game, the announcers honored a U.S. soldier who had recently returned from Iraq. They showed pictures of him and his family. The soldier was at the game. They gave him a bunch of free stuff, but many of the fans in the stands stood up and clapped for him. The fans were both Flyers and Rangers fans, but they came together to honor someone who is risking his life to make sure we all are free. I'm sure when he goes back to Iraq, he will remember this night.

The birth of a baby.
I used to work in a newborn nursery of a hospital and every time I had the chance I would go to the delivery room to watch a birth.
Of course I would stand in the corner with tears in my eyes and sometimes be put to work.
It was completely awesome and something I never tired of.

Working in a nusing home, I cared for a 42-yo with advanced m.s. She was in a fetal position and most days could not speak. After giving her care, I turned to leave the room, and she whispered "Thank you" and smiled!

watching my girlfriend give birth to two beautiful twins it was just so unbelievable she cried i cried& dad was white as a ghost that was the most touching thing i have ever witnessed

My baby sister's birth. My mom was so relieved and oh those tiny little fingers and toes! That sunny day, the dandelion seeds were just floating on the air outside!
