My friend came up with the idea of glueing a razor onto a safety pin. and putting it on a chain and wearing a necklace. She wore it to school and someone told on her. The principal called her mom and told her mom that she might be expelled. I just dont know what to do. She never gets in trouble, shes a very kind person, and she never hurt in anyone so why wouldnt he just give her a suspension and a warning? He hasnt confirmed yet that she is expelled. And the bad thing is, is that I know who told on her. I just dont know what to do.

ok heres the thing...u can try talking to the principal and maybe just maybe he/she might changed their mind.the reason that she just didnt get a suspension or a warning is because most people consider a razor as a weapon so the probably thought she was gonna hurt someone or planning to hurt someone...i hope this helps,if u nned any more advise email me at lashaeca912@yahoo.ca

Don't do anything. Everywhere has a no tolerance policy about bringing weapons to school. Razor blades are considered weapons. Remember Sept. 11th. They carried razor blades. The school is responsible for your safety while you are in their care and they are going to do everything that they can to keep you safe. Other parents would throw a fit if she were only warned. Their child's safety might be in jeopardy. You never know who is going to stab someone or who will only wear it as a necklace. They cannot take any chances. I would not say who told because unless you witnessed it the information might not be correct.

Why is she being expelled in the first place? Because of wearing a necklace with a razor? If she did it just for fashion or looking cool, then go with your friend and try to explain to your school principal that she meant nothing by it, she just thought it was cool. Ask her mother to go with you too.

oaky so here you go she might be expelled because as you may know the policie is no guns acholol drugs razors wepons and stuff like that and you need to talk to her if she is not normally like that then something is wrong shes your best friend and you know her best use your judgement

it is still consider a weapon... she might not have an evil bone in her body.... but the school doesn't know this...they have to address evey issue to protect the students... if your friend get expelled.. that would be sad...but... it might will help other kids to realize ... what is consider a weapon...please don't be to hard on the person who turn her in.... if someone brought a loaded weapon .... wouldn't you want someone to turn that person in....just for safetly.....
