I'm 13, in 8th grade. All my friends have had 3 or 4 boyfriends and I havnt had any!!
Even the dorkiest girl in school has a boyfriend!
I don't think I'm ugly, but I don't think I'm really pretty.
I get kinda shy around boys though.

Well to start with you are probably prettier than most people in your school so the guys are scared to ask you out. Also you make the boys a bit uncomfortable when your shy, it makes them shy so try being a bit more outgoing and they will get the courage to be more outgoing and ask you out. And remember you don't need a BOYfriend all you need are friends but if you really want someone special try looking for a cutie then flirt ,allot. he might get the message and ask you out. If you want different scenario try seeing if you can tell if any cute guys are crushing and talk to them, it will make them feel better and then eventually ask you out. Another option is ask someone out yourself.
Just remember nothing is wrong with you, its something wrong with the boys. And you don't always need a boyfriend.

Honestly, do you really want a boyfriend at 13?
You should be having fun with your friends, but relationships are just silly when you're so young. I'm not saying avoid it, but enjoy being independent.
Besides, everyone is in everyone elses business in highschool, not much privacy.

The only thing wrong is that you think a boyfriend is something you "get". Boys aren't collectibles. If you treat them like that the only ones you'll ever wind up with are shallow wienies.
Friendship and love aren't thing you procure like a pair of shoes. They're things that happen when they should happen.

Theres nothing wrong with you! There probably is a boy that likes you and is to scared to say anything. Do you have a bestfriend? If so, have you tried getting her to hook you up with one of her boyfriends friends? When I was younger, that's what me and my bestfriends did, and still to this day we still do that! Don't rush things, before you know it, you'll have a boyfriend.

DNT WORRY HUNNY!!!!! i am in the same position!!!!! i have actually been tlking to a guy for the past week and i think he has pretty much blew me off.... so i just say whatever..... the right guy will come along for the both of us..... athough i was hoping this was the guy.... ya know what??...i dont think you need a boyfriend to be happy,just learn to be confident alone,be independant and think about whats best for YOU ...eventually youll learn how to live without a bf and youll be happy whether you have one or not,unlike those other girls who will fall apart when their boyfriends leave them
