I had surgery, and a tiny part of the incision got infected. That HURT, but then when they packed that sucker with gauze, and no anestesia....... yikes. My mom almost cried holding my hand.

Watching my parents die. It's the hardest thing a person can go through. The next worst is finding out your mate isn't as faithful as you thought. The phrase "broken heart" doesn't even come close to discribe the pain. As for afflicted pain, I would have to say having my ex slamming me to the floor, with his knee in the side of my head , with all his weight behind it. I have never felt so much pain in my life. I was messed up for a couple of weeks. I think I can actually say it cracked my skull. I had a xray of my head 17 years later and there was evidence of a head injury. And that was the only thing that has ever happened to me. But on a pain scale of 1-10.........it was a 12.

Physically painful would have to be an INTENSE leg cramp that lasted for a full 60 seconds. Rolled out of bed, writhing on the floor, was soooo sore for a week.

Getting a ring stuck on my finger and slowly losing circulation, watching my finger turning blue, fearing for the worst. I even posted a question about it a while back. It was EXCRUCIATING pain. Ow. Just the thought of it makes me shiver.

Back surgery. Oh man, I regretted that for 9 months!! But those first few days after surgery. *shivering* Totally and utterly sucked!!
Would I do it again?? Yep!! best thing I ever did.

the worst migraine in the world, i had spinal fluid leaking and it caused a migraine. i didn't get up for 4 days for eat for 2 days

Liver failure. I was lucky I did not need a transplant and my liver totally reginerated on its own and is all better now.

Losing my husband, and step son. I could have saved him, but I couldn't get to the phone to call 911 in time :(
It's hard to see them pass away right before your eyes!
