I don't know if you're going for trendy or traditional, but I love the name Elliott. Some names, like Jayden, Brayden, etc. have become a fad, so I like to think that if I've heard of 2 people using the name, I try to steer away from it. I grew up in a school with only 25 students in my class, and out of those we had 3 Amy's, 2 Tiffany's, 2 Jenny's, 2 Justin's, and 3 Jared's. It was oh, so confusing! So I would really try not to use a "popular" name. Some of my husband's friends also had "same names" growing up, and they ended up nicknaming each other, like, Tall Billy and Fat Billy, just to tell each other apart. You wouldn't want your kid to be "Dumb Jayden" or "Stumpy Bryson" would you?
I also like Isaac, Brent, Grant, Jacob, Bryant, Avery, Daniel, Leyton, Graham, and Jimbo.
Just kidding on the last one.
Hope this helps stir your imagination. Have fun, good luck, and congrats!!!

How about Kai? Cute and trendy. I just love it!

I named my last son Raiden, which is Japanese and means God of Thunder/Lightening... But everyone calls him Reagan or Braden until we correct them, lol.

I also have a son named Ian, which is (I believe) Welsh for John. Pronounced EE-uhn.

Not too many kids named either Raiden or Ian. I grew up with the name Amy, which every other girl at the time had. So I wanted to name my boys something original. Best of luck to you!
