Alan Jones must be the most unethical Talk back radio although Steve Price may give a run for his money!

This is a SERIOUS question as I have never heard someone on radio push a politicians case so hard. So hard he didn't even mention Howards fraud in the last election rather on some minor comments by Rudd that most people wouldn't even acknowledge!

Is it right for radio personalities to be on the Liberal Party payroll?

You can't throw ethics out the window if you don't have any to start with.
Did you see Andrew Denton interview John Laws and the add he gave him to read about Alan Jones tongue it was hilarious and very true.

Alan Jones was the Script Writer for Malcolm Fraser and accordingly, part of the Liberal Party. He makes no secret of this and stands by his principals. John Laws on the otherhand was forced in the 70's, by the radio station he worked for, to announce his political bias. He admitted to being a Labor Party supporter and has gone out of his way to deny the comment, to the point of suing (very Labor like) for unfavourable comments. The only time Laws shows any support for the Coalition team is when he is about to interview them. I give you that he has been extremely critical about the NSW Labor Party, but this is over a private matter and not his actual view. Basically, they didn't do something that he asked of them and this is his get back!

The medias job is to give unbiased reports of the political campaign not to judge them in favor of 1 candidate or the other. If Mr Jones is so biased that it comes across maybe its time for him to go coach the Australian rugby union team and get out of broadcasting
